Paris train station Est. is one of the largest SNCF stations and oldest in the city opened in 1949. It’s also known as Strasbourg platform. Paris est. is located in Boulevard de Strasbourg, 1km distance from Paris Main Station (Paris Gare Du Nord) so you can go walking.
In addition to being a train station that connects with the main French cities such as Strasbourg or Reims, it also has international routes to Frankfurt or Stuttgart (Germany), to Luxembourg, take the Eurostar to reach London and other places that we will explain on this page.

Being a large station with a lot of train traffic, we recommend that you keep an eye on the directions on the screens. Another good option is to ask the station workers, very friendly in general.
The RER B line allows you to get to the airport quickly and easily in 45 minutes.
In the same station there is the subway stop, with connection to 3 different lines, which makes it easy to go to any point in Paris by metro and visit it quickly.
Tickets are valid for RER, SNCF trains and subway. The price of the ticket is 1.90€ per trip, although you can buy a 10-trip ticket for 14.90€ (-4.10€ discount). You can buy them at any Parisian station.
If you want to catch the bus, then the bus lines 38, 46, and 65 regulates from Gare de I’Est in Paris. You can use the same ticket for the bus, subway and RER. The ticket costs € 1.90 one trip and, in the case of buses, without distance limitation
Along with that, taxi ranks are easily available directly outside the station for a quick transport service.
The price of the taxi is higher than that the Uber, the counter starts with € 2.60 and each kilometer is an additional 1€. We recommend the taxi if you don’t have time.

If you want to travel to the airport, then there is a train that leaves every 15 minutes from the station. Travelers can get to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport by taking the RER B from Paris Train Station (10 minute walk, 1 km).
